I didn't own my first maxi skirt until this last November (now I own four!) and unfortunately for me the first thing you think when you hear "maxi"is the summer breeze and the bottom of the skirt tickling your bare feet. However, not even the cold or the Portland rain could keep me from wearing my new favorite item in my wardrobe and now maxi skirts/dresses are my favorite thing to wear even on cold days. Not only are maxi skirts comfortable and easy to wear but they instantly make your outfit fashionable. How do you keep your legs warm? Tights! I wear my fleece lined tights underneath and I'm warmer (and cozier) than if I wore pants. Above are some of the looks I've featured on my blog wearing maxi skirts in the cold and below are how some of my favorite bloggers have worn them.

I have never owned a maxi skirt, but I really love how you've styled them here! You look great, and love the images of the bloggers below. Cocorosa's blog is one of my favourites!

I love your maxi skirts. Unfortunately for me, I work too much and these are the only thing not allowed at work! Sometimes I sneak one in the summer but Winter would be so obvious.
ReplyDeleteI adore the cranberry colored one in particular.
