I Love My Cambridge Satchel

I've only had my Cambridge Satchel since christmas but it has quickly become my favorite thing in my wardrobe. Today was the first day I went without it and that was only because it want it to get damaged in the snow (yay it snowed today!). Since I love mine so much I just thought I'd do a little review on it, just in case any of my readers are thinking about getting one.

My personal favorite part of mine is the embossing of my initials (Which for this particular style was free). I chose blind embossing however if I were to do it again I'd probably pick a colored embossing just so it stands out more. As you can tell in farther away photos the blind embossing is harder to see.

Now theres one thing that does annoy me about this bag and it's the buckles. You have to unbuckle and re-buckle it every time you want to get something out which can be really annoying in certain situations. It is a hassle but I love the bag so much that it doesn't bug me. However if your the kind of person that likes to just throw anything and everything in your bag, this isn't the bag for you. It's not a carryall and do it's structured shape all the things you put in it for the most part have to organized.

I bought my bag with the intention of using it for school which is why I bought the 15 inch but it has quickly become my everyday bag that I also use for school. I've found that papers, folders, and my laptop fit great while more irregularly shaped things do not fit so well. If your buying yours for school or work I recommend the 15 inch but if your buying it for everyday use I would say get a smaller size.

With all that said I'm in love with my satchel and would love to purchase another one in a fun vibrant color! I think it's a timeless bag and well worth the large price tag. I definitely won't be putting mine away for quite sometime.
