Happy Weekend

I don't know about you but I'm sure glad it's the weekend and even though I'll be spending the better half of it working it's still nice to have that free Saturday feeling. I had fun with this outfit yesterday, throwing a crop top over an unexpected dress is my new favorite activity so you should expect to see more of it from me. Of course I had to add my signature touch of just a little bit too much jewelry to make the outfit feel like my own.

Magic in the Air

As the sun was setting yesterday all I could think of was how this dress would look in the light. So what did I do? I gave into temptation and had a little photo session. With the right dress, a beautiful song, and perfect lighting you can create some truly magical photos. I'm really happy with how all of these photos turned out, they make my life appear to be calming when in reality my stress is off the charts. Every time I look at these photos I'm reminded of a time when admits the stress I felt perfectly at peace.

The Crazy Printed Leggings

This is my "I'd-rather-be-inside-painting-than-out-in-the-rain" look. Whenever it rains for some reason these crazy printed sweater leggings always come out, they're the most comfortable thing I own. I also spent the entire day working on two weeks worth of color theory projects so I literally painted for most of the daylight hours. When I'm painting it's easier to have on a really comfortable outfit because I always find myself sitting or kneeling in the most random positions just to get that perfect angle.

What do you think of these leggings? Too crazy for everyday wear (I did get lots of weird looks at class)? Or just right for an artist?

Scenes From Lately

This is from an outfit post I never got to post due to my lack of hair and makeup skills. Thanks Mackenzie for the awesome photo!

It wouldn't be scenes from my life without Maya and Amelia.

The new dog park in The Pearl opened, Maya and I have been about seven times now!

Richard and I celebrated our three year anniversary.

Some of you have been asking to see a little bit of my school projects so I thought I'd share this one with you. These photos are a from a photography lighting project.

This is also part of a photography project, my personal project. For the course of this term I've been taking pictures of my feet as a reflection of what I did that day.

Maya and I just can't get enough of each other.

Crazy Days & Giveaway Winner

Wow! Life has been so busy lately! Work was crazy this weekend, I had my three year anniversary with Richard, I have some blogging to catch up on, I've still got school work and pets to take care of, and on top of that my allergies are acting up so casual outfits have been my go to. You know I love to wear over the top attire during my everyday life but lately I haven't had the time to put them together. I feel like I just need a day to sleep and I'll be back on my game.
